Gibson SG 61 Reissue.

Some 30 odd years ago I owned a Gibson Les Paul Delux which I could not get on with, and this put me off Gibson for a very lng time, anyhow, I then decided I was missing out by not having at least one Gibson, so for no apparent reason I targetted the SG 61 RI in Cherry of course !

 

I had never even played one, but the course was set and the mission began.

 

I eventually found this Jan 2006 model in mint conditon and travelled down south somewhere to collect.

 

Its a fine guitar, which does what it says on the tin, plays great, chunky neck, with fat sound to match.

 

Standard Volume & tone controls with 3 way switch.
